The Data Protection Team is part of MetLife’s Global Security function within Global Technology. Our overall mandate is to protect and safeguard MetLife customers.


The Opportunity

This key position contributes to safeguarding MetLife customers by supporting the data security program, regulatory compliance, and cybersecurity. This is an exciting opportunity to develop enterprise level skill with global impact. The IT Security Services Analyst is responsible for operational oversite, maintenance and support of global infrastructure to ensure smooth functioning of the technology and process within the data security program.

Success in this role requires a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies. You will be required to work across teams and geographic regions collaboratively with partners and stakeholders.

How You’ll Help Us Build a Confident Future (Key Responsibilities)

  • Coordinate, execute and manage systems support activities including, system and application upgrades, application maintenance and patching,
  • Assist with troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues.
  • Assist with the implementation of new processes and systems.
  • Provide support, including written procedural documentation and relevant reports
  • Respond to service issues and requests in a timely manner.
  • Provide technical support to users both in person and remotely
  • Install and configure computer systems, applications, and networks.
  • Maintain and monitor computer systems, applications, and networks.


What You Need to Succeed (Required Qualifications)

  • 2-3 years of experience operationally supporting systems infrastructure.
  • 1-2 years exposure to virtualized/cloud-based infrastructure operations/administration
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with various operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux)
  • Basic understanding of network configurations and protocols.
  • Experience with troubleshooting infrastructure and application issues.

The expected salary range for this position is . This role may also be eligible for annual short-term incentive compensation.  All incentives and benefits are subject to the applicable plan terms.
