The Role: 

Responsible for developing and designing front end web architecture, scalable software solutions, ensuring the responsiveness of applications, and working alongside other team members including UI/UX engineers for web design features, among other duties.

The role will be required to see out a project from conception to final product, requiring good organizational skills and attention to details.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Responsible for technical solutioning and engineering related activities across Asia focusing on reusable components 
• Responsible for leading, planning, shaping and prioritizing project activities along with various stakeholders including business and delivery teams
• Lead resources and project technical implementation to ensure all application development and project will be completed and rolled-out within the agreed time frame given 
• Manage, deliver and roll-out planned project within the timeframe complying with user requirement/needs 
• Understand and drive technical issues to resolution
• Ensure all development and technical activities undertaken are following the Global IT security standards
• Manage, prepare, and review technical deliverables and documentations
• Work closely with Global and Digital teams to implement the right solution 
• Work closely with and support the IT teams in the Asia countries 

Candidate Qualifications: 

• Degree in Information Software Engineering, Business IT, Computer Science or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years’ relevant experiences preferably related to application development experiences with deep understanding of technologies and business.
• Experience managing a team of least of 5 
• Have experience with the following technologies – Java, ReactJS, REST/JSON, Spring Boot and native iOS & Android mobile development
• Have experience with CI/CD, automated builds, automated deployment with Azure DevOps, JIRA, Jenkins or any related technologies
• Have experience integrating with API Microservices & SPA UI/UX development
• Have experience to deliver and implement mobile and web applications
• Have ability to understand business requirements and translate into technical requirements
• Have practical experience using Agile methodology including scrum/iterative delivery, test-driven development
• Able to adapt in a fast changing and dynamic environment
• Strong critical thinking and decision-making capability with strong desire to overcome obstacles
• Good command and articulation skills in the English language

Additional Technical Experience and Technical Skills: 

• Have experience in integrating with cloud technologies such as Azure, AWS, Ali Cloud, etc.
• Have experience in creating low level designs for applications and databases
