The Opportunity

The Solutions Architect is responsible for translating business vision and strategy into effective enterprise change by designing and implementing key requirements, principles, and models that define the organization’s future state and drive its evolution within the insurance industry across the information technology function. This is an exciting opportunity to collaborate with product development teams, shape cutting-edge IT architecture, and directly impact the success of enterprise-level programs by providing both strategic guidance and hands-on technical expertise throughout the agile development lifecycle. 


Key Responsibilities
  • Subject matter expert in information technology architecture with focus on the insurance industry 
  • Assure that architecture solution is to deliver business values, aligned to MetLife IT strategic roadmap and standards to maximize synergies and enterprise leverage 
  • Collaborate with product development teams to develop applications/ solutions/ systems by providing architecture guidance and support during all phases of agile SDLC. 
  • Create architectural specifications for the end-to-end solution with minimal oversight 

Required Qualifications
  • 2-5 years of related architecture experience 
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related discipline and/or equivalent work experience 
  • Proven knowledge of one or more architecture disciplines, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience 

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in an Agile Team.
  • Scrum / SAFe certifications
  • Azure Solution Architecture Certification
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce products, including Salesforce Industries (formerly Vlocity), Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and Salesforce Shield.

The expected salary range for this position is 75,000 - 100,000. This role may also be eligible for annual short-term incentive compensation.  All incentives and benefits are subject to the applicable plan terms.
