Summary of Position Responsibilities: 

The Enterprise Infrastructure Engineer provides technical expertise for the multiple technologies supporting business-critical IT platforms to include but not limited to, WebSphere Application Server, Liberty, Content Server, WebSphere Portal, FileNet, Case Manager, and Content Navigator.  Responsibilities include planning, engineering, and implementation of our application platform infrastructure to include operational processes and procedures. The role will work in partnership with management and is responsible for developing and driving the strategic evolution of the supported platform technology, ensuring they are highly reliable and secure. The role will participate in the evaluation and recommendation of new products and technologies, applying knowledge of emerging technologies for application to the enterprise. The role will also represent the domain in relevant currency, security, and automation efforts.

 

Experience and Skills Requirements: 

  • 4+ years of experience in an IT function supporting global application platforms, with demonstrated experience working with either Enterprise Content Management, IBM WebSphere Application Server (WAS), IBM Liberty, Red Hat OpenShift or other Kubernetes based hybrid cloud solutions.
  • Experience supporting applications running on Red Hat Enterprise Linux with an understanding of container platform concepts and technologies.
  • Intermediate knowledge of various scripting languages with emphasis on Python preferred.
  • Demonstrated success in supporting enterprise wide, shared platform technologies within a global company.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective and productive partnerships with peers, customers, leadership, and partners.
  • Effective organizational and cultural skills to drive and implement major engineering efforts.
  • Strong interpersonal, leadership and communication skills.
  • Undergraduate degree preferred.

The expected salary range for this position is . This role may also be eligible for annual short-term incentive compensation.  All incentives and benefits are subject to the applicable plan terms.
