Summary of Responsibilities: 

 

This position is responsible for supporting the AVP for the National Accounts CFO in performing credible financial analysis and reporting on current state and business opportunities for the National Accounts segment by analyzing actual and projecting financial results in comparison with plan assumptions and reporting out the interrelationships between market, product and growth strategy levers, particularly regarding market share.

Principal Responsibilities:

 

  1. Market expertise:
    1. Support market share study to understand Metlife vs market
    2. Quarterly LIMRA consolidation 
    3. Annual Eastbridge survey
    4. D&B analytics
    5. Territorial Opportunity model 
    6. RFP proposal responses

2.      Support the creation / aggregation / consolidation of key financial reports including

a.       History file data

b.      SLT Deck, commentary and executive presentations

c.       QFR and QBR reporting

d.      Ad hoc / special assignments as required

e.       QFS Supplemental Questions

  1. Tracks, analyzes and reports moderate to complex financial and operational (enrollment, sales, closing ratio, other sales drivers etc...) metrics information
  2. Compiles and analyzes operational and transactional data and creates high level reports of operational, financial, and performance results, including trend analysis, status of major initiatives, escalating issues, and potential solutions
  3. Provides project management support to various initiatives by providing financial, work measurement, equipment/space planning, and metrics reporting support
  4. Manages strategic projects that encompass both short and long term business planning
  5. Recommends metrics to track, how to measure, and the method in which data is tracked, stored and reported
  6. Performs other duties as assigned

Knowledge/Skills/Competencies Required:

 

  1. A 4-year college degree, 
  2. Advanced knowledge of Group Benefit Business, workflows, and systems preferred. 
  3. Ability to understand business plans and support them through sound financial counsel
  4. Excellent computer skills, knowledge of databases and reporting systems and analytical tools like Microsoft Excel (Access, Excel, Alteryx preferred, SQL);
  5. Excellent oral communication skills;
  6. 7+  years of related work experience preferred;
  7. Good interpersonal and organizational skills are required;

The expected salary range for this position is $86,200 to $114,900. This role may also be eligible for annual short-term incentive compensation.  All incentives and benefits are subject to the applicable plan terms.
