Event Orchestrator & Business Operations Lead
Location: Cary, NC (Hybrid)
Department: Global Technology & Operations (GTO) is responsible for technology development, infrastructure, information and cyber security, data strategy and analytics, customer service, and operations, global business solutions and business controls in support of all lines of business across 40+ markets around the world.
The Opportunity: The event and business operations lead performs wide ranging activities that support strategic business activities within the GTO, Strategy & Planning department. The incumbent will have a unique combination of effective communication, analytical, strategic, and program management skills to play a key role in wide ranging activities. Activities will include but not be limited to coordinating management routines, leadership conferences and agendas, performance measurement, and governance that support business objectives and results. The incumbent will collaborate within GTO and across the enterprise. Additionally, the role will support activities across the strategy and planning team.
Key focus areas: planning and coordination of key leadership meetings, site visits and conferences, project management of key organizational initiatives, meeting and event orchestration, and ad hoc projects with analytical skills required including those related to strategic initiatives for the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Orchestrate leadership events such as leadership conferences, management routines and site visits.
- Support and influence the development of GTO’s leadership events, design, and implementation plan.
- Develop best practices, to continuously improve how we deliver events in a sustainable way.
- Strong team player collaborating across all areas of GTO, including Services & Operations, Global Technology, Global Security, Data & Analytics, Business Controls, Global Business Solutions, and enterprise partners.
- Develop relationships and manage stakeholder alignment coordinate content cross functions and the enterprise.
- Collects data and conduct analyses for root cause issues / change management.
- Develops and refines performance measures as internal benchmarking tools.
- Manage processes needed to support financial reporting requirements for major events.

- Key Stakeholders: Across GTO, Global Communications and Global Events Management, Facilities
What You Need to Succeed (Required Qualifications):
- 10+ years of experience in business operations, project planning, event management.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Excellent problem-solving capabilities, including problem structuring, analysis, and ability to translate information into insights, actionable implications, and recommendations.
- Strong business and financial acumen, process, strategic thinking, influencing capabilities.
- Strong collaboration, interpersonal, customer relationship, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
- Self-directed and self-motivated with experience interacting with senior leadership.
- Prior experience managing large complex projects.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related fields.
